The CampusLAB on Global Soil Health, Water, and Climate hosted a workshop on hyperspectral remote sensing, bringing together researchers from academia and industry.
Prof. Mohsen Mesgaran (University of California, Davis) presented recent applications of hyperspectral remote sensing for detecting invasive species and addressing ecological challenges. The workshop also featured hands-on training delivered by Nikolaos Tsakiridis, Nikiforos Samarinas, and Eleni Kalopesa from FOUR, introducing participants to practical aspects of hyperspectral data acquisition and analysis.
The workshop reflects the CampusLAB's growing investment in hyperspectral sensing technologies and its commitment to developing innovative tools for monitoring soil, water, vegetation, and environmental change.
