We want to congratulate traceless® to a new milestone in the company’s history.
In 2020, traceless® was founded to research and create new biodegradable materials from agricultural plant residues. Since then, the scientists at traceless® have found a plastic-free material that composts faster than commercially available organic waste bags.
On 13 May, traceless® opened its first industrial production facility. The ribbon-cutting event drew almost 200 guests, among them Federal Environment Minister Carsten Schneider and Hamburg's Environment Senator Katharina Fegebank. The new facilities will allow for large-scale production of several thousand tons traceless® material annually.
Here at CampusLab Circular Economy, we are happy to get to work in close collaboration with traceless®. Success like theirs’ is a great example for how scientific research can contribute to a sustainable future and the transfer of knowledge and products from fundamental science @TUHH to society.
