On 11-12 November, within Project ELMOD, the Institute of River and Coastal Engineering carried out another measurement campaign to investigate sediment transport processes associated with individual dredged-material relocation events in the Elbe Estuary. The campaign focused on tracking the evolution and spatial extent of the resulting sediment plume, as well as monitoring bed-elevation changes at the relocation site. The campaign was conducted with outstanding support from BAW • Bundesanstalt für Wasserbau and Hamburg Port Authority (HPA)!
Even the weather was on our side, giving us great measurement conditions and rewarding us with beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
