XIX. Summer School on Accounting 2025 in Vienna

Our research associate Stella Rauscher took part in the Summer School on Carbon Accounting for Rapid Decarbonization.

From Oktober 23rd to 25th 2025, the University of Vienna, in cooperation with the University of Bern and LMU Munich, hosted the 19th iteration of the Summer School on Accounting. Under this years’ theme “Carbon Accounting for Rapid Decarbonization, the program offered an in-depth exploration of current research topics, practice-oriented case studies, and insight into the regulatory landscape.

Presented by Prof. Dr. Stefan Reichelstein (University of Mannheim and Standford University) with a guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Maureen McNichols (Stanford University), the setting fostered academic engagement and international exchange among participants. Our research associate Stella Rauscher, who is currently exploring the numerical analysis of errors in carbon accounting systems, profited immensely from this academic exchange. The Institute looks forward to participating in similar initiatives in the future.
