Happy 10th Anniversary HOOU!

Our research associate Alexandra Eckert was happy to participate in the 10th anniversary celebration of the Hamburg Open Online University (HOOU) on 4 September.

The event featured a panel discussion with former German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Hamburg’s Science Senator Maryam Blumenthal, HOOU Managing Director Prof. Dr. Sönke Knutzen (TUHH), and Supervisory Board Chair Prof. Dr. Frederike Masemann (HAW Hamburg), reflecting on HOOU’s journey and future potential.

We’re proud that HOOU is currently supporting our project “Agents of Change – Bringing Sustainability into Motion”, which empowers learners to explore how strengthening social norms can reduce littering—through an interactive agent-based simulation and scientific insights.

We’re excited to see our course soon live on the HOOU platform!
