3rd Symposium on Deep-Sea Oil Spills at TUHH in December 2019

Ten Years after the Deepwater Horizon accident in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010 with more than 700 million liters of oil spilled into the ocean, several questions remain open.

After the first highly successful symposiums in 2013 and 2016, the C-IMAGE-III research group from the Hamburg University of Technology <link>invites researchers from around the globe to the third Symposium on Deep-Sea Oil Spills at TUHH. The conference will take place on December 5, 2019, and shall be a discussion platform to link the different research areas and to define points of contact between modeling and experimental research.
