This visit was a significant step forward for the project C04, with Shaik focusing on advancing the application of recurrence-based CFD (rCFD). His research involved studying mixing in GF25 fluidized beds and exploring the potential of rCFD for granulation and continuous flow modeling. These advancements will contribute to more efficient, data-driven process modelling approaches.
We would like to thank Prof. Stefan Pirker and Dr. Daniel Queteschiner for their collaborative support.
The findings from the fluidized bed mixing study will be presented at the ICMF 2025 conference in Toulouse in May.
