Professors Lounge and new appointees

PROFESSORS’ LOUNGE – Teaching Impulses

Our courses are designed to support you in your teaching. In addition to individual consultations, the Professors’ Lounge provides an interdisciplinary format for exchange among the professoriate at TU Hamburg.

In a small-group setting, you will work on and discuss current topics as well as aspects of your own teaching and research. We are happy to incorporate topic suggestions from professors. The series is hosted by the Vice President for Teaching, Prof. Dr Wolfgang Kersten, in collaboration with the ZLL.

Onboarding for new appointees

A warm welcome to you as a new member of the teaching staff at TU Hamburg. As the Centre for Teaching and Learning at TU Hamburg, we are here to support you in designing your courses and to help you build interdisciplinary connections within our university.

In a personal meeting, we will be happy to introduce you to our range of services for you and your academic staff. You are also invited to take part in a networking opportunity with our Vice President for Teaching, Prof. Dr rer. pol. Wolfgang Kersten, and newly appointed colleagues from other departments at TU Hamburg.
