The ADL — Agile Design Lab at the TUHH — is a flexible development space for ideas, prototypes, testing, presentations, and user feedback. Here, questions arising from research, teaching, business, and society are transformed into concrete concepts, demonstrators, and hands-on applications.
With workshop areas, digital manufacturing, hybrid media technology, and flexible workspaces, the ADL supports the entire process from the initial idea to the tested prototype. Students, researchers, companies, startups, schools, and partners can come together here to develop, experiment, discuss, and showcase their results.
The ADL is jointly organized by ISEM—the Institute for Smart Development and Machine Elements—and the Institute for Organizational Design and Collaboration Engineering. It combines technical product development with innovation research, agile collaboration, user feedback, and science communication.
