Institute of Multiphase Flows

Welcome to the Institute of Multiphase Flows. Our institute is dedicated to the study of heat and mass transfer processes between gas and liquid phases. By combining experimental investigations and numerical simulations, we explore the complex mechanisms and properties of multiphase flows. Here, we map the complete scale spectrum between single nanobubbles and industry-scale multiphase reactors.

As a leading institute in this field, we strive for excellence in research and promote interdisciplinary exchange. We cooperate closely with national and international research institutions as well as industrial partners to work together on future-oriented projects.
