
In 2018, Dr.-Ing. Kevin Linka earned his PhD degree summa cum laude
from RWTH Aachen University and was awarded the Borchers medal. In 2020, he
received a postdoctoral scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Service for a
stay at the renowned Stanford University (CA, USA). Since 2024 he has been a member
of the Emmy Noether Programme of the German Research Foundation. In 2025, he was awarded the Richard-Mises-Prize of the International Association of Applied
Mathematics and Mechanics. His research focuses on artificial intelligence in materials science and biomedical engineering.
