The Campus Shop at Denickestrasse 22 provides a range of printing and copying services for a charge. It also sells an assortment of paper, stationery products, drinks, snacks and ice cream.

Family-friendly University

Hamburg University of Technology has been audited as a family-friendly university. In the course of 2022 Hamburg University of Technology is planning to open a campus kindergarten, "Campus Nest", in cooperation with Studierendenwerk Hamburg. Please approach Studierendenwerk Hamburg with any queries or enquiries.

Food on Campus

The Mensa (university canteen) is at Denickestrasse 22, Building I. Opening hours are from 8.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. daily (lunch 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.) during semester times. It provides a selection of warm and cold beverages, breakfast, snacks, set lunch menus and a salad, vegetable and pasta bar. A PizzaBar is built into the Mensa. It has the following opening hours: Mon-Thu 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., Fri 11.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

The ZEssP in Building B, Am Schwarzenberg Campus 2, Café insgrüne in Building O, Eissendorfer Strasse 38, and the Cafeteria in Building F, Kasernenstrasse, sell warm and cold beverages and snacks from 8.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

University Sport

Hamburg University of Technology has a fitness studio in Building F (Kasernenstrasse). It is run by Hochschulsport Hamburg and provides inexpensive courses for university employees and students.
