Mr. Muhammed Farhan Kannankeri Sajeer

I received my bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala, India, in 2023. As part of my bachelor’s studies, I carried out a project on water quality analysis along selected coastal aquifers in Kerala, which gave me a strong interest in water resources and environmental engineering.

After completing my bachelor’s degree, I worked as a Civil Engineer, where I handled project documentation and site inspections. This experience provided me with practical exposure to engineering projects and strengthened my skills in site management, technical documentation and field-based problem solving.

In 2024, I began my master’s degree in Environmental Engineering at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). Currently, I am conducting my Projektarbeit at the Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics on the topic “Deriving a Globally Representative Area–Volume Power Law for Small Agricultural Reservoirs and Water Bodies”.  My project focuses on understanding the relationship between the surface area and volume of small agricultural reservoirs and water bodies.
