I received my BSc and MSc degree in agriculrtral enignieering, from the Science and Research University in Tehran, Iran, I obtained my PhD in Biology and Biotechnology from Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany, where my research focused on the effects of pesticides on the health and behavior of non target organisms, in lab , semi-field, and field conditions.

I have worked as a Study Director and regulatory science expert, managing GLP-compliant ecotoxicology and residue studies for EU regulatory submissions. I joined the Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) as a Researcher in 2025.

My research interests include microplastics in soil systems, plant-soil-microbe interactions, and applied environmental risk assessment, using laboratory and experimental approaches, including hyperspectral imaging.
