Dr. Jasmin Fetzer

Dr. Jasmin Fetzer is COO and researcher at Digit Soil (Adliswil, Switzerland), where she contributes to the development of innovative, field-applicable soil measurement technologies, including a novel laboratory-independent device for assessing soil enzymatic activity. After a master degree in environmental sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich), she earned her PhD at ETH Zürich and the Soil Biogeochemistry group at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL), Birmensdorf, Switzerland. Her work focused on nutrient cycling and soil biogeochemical processes, with a particular interest in phosphorus dynamics and extracellular enzymatic activity in soils. As a visiting scientist at the Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics, she contributes to the group's research at the interface of soil science and environmental processes, and contributes to lecturing.
