The Deutschlandstipendium – Supporting our Future!

Since the summer semester of 2011, companies, foundations, and private individuals have been supporting student success and engagement together with the federal government through the Deutschlandstipendium. At our university, numerous sponsors give this vibrant network a face by supporting our students.

Scholarship recipients receive a need-independent grant of €300 per month (in addition to BAföG funding) for at least two semesters and up to the standard period of study, enabling them to fully concentrate on their academic education.

The concept of achievement underlying the scholarship is intentionally broad: above-average grades and academic performance are just as relevant as a willingness to take on responsibility or successfully overcoming challenges in one’s personal or educational path.
