Aida Ben Hassen Trabelsi
Aïda Ben Hassen Trabelsi, Dr-Ing in Environmental Bio-geochemistery, is from 2009 until now, an Assistant Professor in Research and Technology Centre of Energy CRTEn (Tunisia). She has obtained her Engineering degree from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis (Tunisia) in 2001 and then her Master Degree (in 2003) and PhD (in 2007) from Orleans University (France).
She is conducting research activities at many branches of the environmental sciences and mainly on the solid waste management and on “Energy recovery from solid wastes”. Her experience is focused on: biomass or biowastes characterization (geochemical and physico-chemical characterization), wastes valorization as biofuels, and environmental aspects associated to biowastes conversion. She has several publications in the environmental field and especially in the solid waste valorization. She has participated in several national and international projects dealing with biowastes valorization as biofuels.
