Aikan Suranaeva holds a MA in European Politics, Society and Culture in a Global Context, an Erasmus Mundus programme taught across Georg-August University of Goettingen and Palacký University in Olomouc. For her degree, she was awarded the Erasmus Mundus scholarship by the European Commission. She holds over 3 years of work experience as a project and administrative specialist at GIZ, American Councils and NGOs across Germany, Belgium and Kyrgyzstan. In these roles, she contributed to the administrative and project field of the projects on education, youth development and climate change. She is working as the Climate Informed Engineering (CIE ) Officer of the Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics at TUHH.
