The Cell-Service-Center  is a project within the research focus “Regeneration, Implants, Medical Technology” (FSP RIM). It has been established at the Institute of Biomechanics in association with Prof. Dr.-Ing. R. Pörtner (Institute of Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering). It is supporting all research projects within the FSP RIM by providing services such as testing of materials with respect to their biocompatibility, selecting materials for direct contact with biological cells / tissue, preparation and testing of devices and sensors for measurements in cells / cell cultures etc.
