The semester-long training sessions for tutors are specifically designed to prepare students for their teaching roles while also offering the opportunity to earn two credit points within the Non-Technical Courses programme. In addition to providing valuable qualifications relevant to the job market, the trainings focus on developing personal competencies such as group facilitation, communication, and self-reflection.
Tailored training sessions are offered for tutors supporting projects, PBL (problem-based learning), lab courses, and tutorials (e.g. in electrical engineering, mathematics, mechanics), in cooperation with the Engineering Education Research Group. These trainings contribute to long-term academic staff development, as many tutors later go on to work as academic staff members.
