Im Rahmen der Lehrveranstaltung „Digitale Produktentwicklung und Leichtbau“ fand am 10. Juli 2024 der Abschluss des Teamprojektes der begleitenden problembasierten Lehrveranstaltung „CAE-Teamprojekt“ statt.

Am 10.07. fand in unserem Prüffeld die Abschlussveranstaltung des Leichtbaupraktikums statt.

Am Donnerstag, dem 11. Juli 2024 um 10:00 Uhr findet die Verteidigung zur externen Abschlussarbeit von Herrn Manuel Gerstein statt. Diese Arbeit ist im Rahmen des EffiziEntEE Projekts und in Kooperation mit der CONSULECTRA GmbH entstanden. In der Arbeit befasste Herr Gerstein sich mit dem Thema "Analyse und Bewertung der Netzkapazität von Niederspannungsnetzen gegenüber hohen Durchdringungen an elektrischen Wärmepumpen und Elektroautos". Der Startschuss für das Projekt GIGA fiel am 09.07. beim IWW (Institut für Werkstoffwissenschaft und Werkstofftechnik) in Chemnitz. Beim vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK) geförderten Forschungsvorhaben „GIGA“ arbeitet das IFPT mit mehreren Projektpartner zusammen. Aus dem KMU-Bereich gehören dazu als Projektleiter die Firma Scholz Mechanik aus Hamburg und die KleRo GmbH sowie die Oberflächen- & Elektrotechnik Scheigenpflug GmbH. Auf universitärer Seite wird das IFPT mit der Professur Werkstoff- und Oberflächentechnik von der TU Chemnitz zusammenarbeiten. Das Projekt GIGA zielt darauf ab, eine roboterbasierte modulare Galvanisierung mit Inline-Prozessüberwachung für Flugzeugbauteile in kleinen Losgrößen zu entwickeln. Das IFPT trägt dazu bei, indem es eine adaptive Bahnplanung für die Roboterführung und ein KI-basiertes Inspektionssystem zur Qualitätsüberwachung entwickelt. Dieser neuartige Ansatz verspricht eine Reduktion von Ressourcenverbrauch und Emissionen in der Fertigung sowie eine Stärkung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Zulieferer.

The Continuous Innovation Network (CINet) is a global network set up to bring together researchers and practitioners working in the field of Continuous Innovation and related areas of research and practice. The mission of CINet is to progressively become a school of thought on Continuous Innovation. Consistent with this mission, CINet organizes an annual conference. The 25th CINet conference, which will take place in Hamburg, Germany, from 15-17 September 2024. The conference will be hosted by the Institute for Organizational Design and Collaboration Engineering of the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), and will be preceded by a PhD workshop, and Young Academics workshop.

IGMaxHS – An Incremental MaxSAT Solver with Support for XOR Clauses

Am 21. Juni 2024 verabschiedete das Dekanat Technologie und Innovation in der Bildung die Absolvent*innen der Lehramtsteilstudiengänge Arbeitslehre/Technik und Gewerblich-Technische Wissenschaften im feierlichen Rahmen im LuK der Technischen Universität Hamburg.

Last week, we wrapped up an exciting event on July 4th, showcasing a year of effort by our startup teams. Over the past year, participants received extensive support from Startup Port, partners, and experts, including resources, mentorship, and a collaborative environment to turn their visions into reality.On July 4th, our teams presented their refined ideas to a panel of judges. Each team had worked tirelessly, and it was their moment to shine. We enjoyed music, delicious food from Chickpeace, and post-pitch discussions. Some teams were already planning to implement their ideas and seek investment. The top three teams received prizes, including pre-selection for the Next. Gen Incubator (Körber Start-Hub) and invitations to the Hamburg Innovation Summit in late 2024. The winning team got the chance to attend the Summit, offering a platform to elevate their startup. We also provided access to exclusive networking and lunch events to support and expose our promising startups.In recognition of their hard work and commitment, all participants received certificates from our Jury Members, we had an amazing photo session, and it was really fun to see everyone pitching in. Also, our partners' backing helps us organise such great events. The final pitches were evaluated by a diverse panel of judges, which included professors Paul Drews from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, a program manager Thorben Koop from IFB, Community Innoimpact, Laura Savoca from Otto Krahn Group, Anika Hamester, Nono Weinzierl from Orbit - orbitdigital.de and other established professionals.The best part about such a panel is the feedback from five different perspectives, finance, and industry-ensuring a well-rounded assessment of each startup.The skills, knowledge, and networks these students have built over the past year are invaluable. We celebrate their achievements and look forward to seeing how they will innovate and impact the world.
