Under the slogan "Software, Technology and Systems (STS)", the institute combines fundamental research on descriptions and dependencies of software systems with practical issues and applications from both engineering and social sciences.
The STS co-organizes a summer school to be held at the guest house of the University of Hamburg from September 16 to 19. The summer school with focus on interdisciplinary research in the field of privacy features a panel discussion moderated by Professor Schupp as well as a presentation by Kai Bavendiek on his PhD research.
