Prof. Akio Tomiyama from Kobe University visits the CRC "SMART Reactors"

The honorary guest gave a seminar on multiphase phenomena entitled "Phenomena in multiphase flows and how we can utilise them for SMART Reactors".

On 6th December Prof. Dr. Akio Tomiyama from Kobe University visited the Hamburg University of Technology and gave an inspiring talk on multiphase phenomena entitled "Phenomena in multiphase flows and how we can utilise them for SMART Reactors" together with CRC spokesperson Michael Schlüter during the first CRC seminar. The presentation led to a lively discussion on the numerous challenges that arise in the development and design of SMART Reactors with respect to bubble and droplet breakup and coalescence.
