Prof. Walter G. Chapman strengthens the Collaborative Research Center "SMART Reactors"

The renowned researcher from Rice University in Houston is a Mercator Fellow in the CRC 1615.

Using tools such as simulation, visualization, statistical mechanics and nuclear magnetic resonance, Walter G. Chapman’s research explores molecular interactions in fluids. His team at Rice will study how different polymers respond to changing conditions such as reaction temperature and composition in order to develop responsive materials for SMART reactors.

Further information on Chapman and his participation in the CRC 1615 can be found on the press portals from the TUHH (in german) and the Rice University.
