Dear PhD students at the TUHH,

we, the team of the Doctoral Council, deal with topics relating to doctoral studies at the TUHH. We, that's Jan, Swantje, Til, Antje, Lennart and Dimitri. We

• are of different ages, have just started our doctorates or have been doing them for a while,
• are employed on university budget positions or are financed by third-party funds,
• are doing our doctorates in areas related to our studies or are lateral entrants,
• have already studied here at the TUHH or are new here,
• have already studied here at the TUHH or are new here come from Hamburg or from other cities in Germany and the world.

We as the Doctoral Council we

• ...regularly exchange information on specific and general questions about doing a doctorate, from cumulative doctorates to travel expense claims.
• ...organise events such as co-working or get-togethers.
• ...meet up from time to time even if we don't have an agenda, have a nice evening together, discuss socially relevant topics or share curiosities from our everyday teaching and research.

We are your contact persons for all questions and matters for which you do not know any other contact person and will support you in your concerns to the best of our ability. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions, requests or specific concerns, if you would simply like to discuss your doctoral project, or come along to our co-working sessions.
