Abstract: The precise placement of needle during brachytherapy is very important for the course of the treatment. During this procedure, different organs must be spared, for instance the bladder. We present a setup to enhance the safe and precise placement of needles with the use of co-registered OCT and Ultrasound imaging as well as an articulated robot.
