Cooperation between TUHH / ISM and Mondragon University

The Institute for Industrialization of Smart Materials (ISM) at TUHH has established a cooperation with Mondragon University (Spain).
This partnership builds on a long-standing collaboration, including joint research projects, the supervision of thesis work from Mondragon University students at TUHH, previous guest stays of ISM research associates at Mondragon University, and the exchange of PhD students between both universities.
Mondragon University is a cooperative, practice-oriented university in the Basque Country, closely linked to industry and known for its strong focus on applied research and dual education models.

The collaboration focuses on joint research activities as well as the exchange of students and academic staff.
It offers students and researchers the opportunity to complete theses or research stays at the partner university.
Through this cooperation, ISM and Mondragon University strengthen international collaboration and practice-oriented education in engineering and materials science.
