On 13 February, the IFPT welcomed Xenia Sophia Köneke and Erik Johannsen from the DLR - Institute of Lightweight Systems. The institutes discussed the possibility of IFPT becoming a member of the DLR Innovation Lab EmpowerAX, which aims to industrialize fiber-strengthened 3D printing. In addition to presenting the IFPT's ongoing carbon fiber-related projects, DLR presented the structure, network members, and current technology status.
