We look back on an inspiring week at the 18th CIRP Conference on Intelligent Computation in Manufacturing Engineering (ICME) on the island of Ischia in Italy. In addition to the scientific exchange with the peer group, four researchers from our institute presented their work:
Jan-Erik Rath: “Assembly System Modeling with SysML and AutomationML for Configuration and Reconfiguration”
Dirk Holst: “An Edge Is All You Need: Cracking the Code for Generating Synthetic Datasets for Robust Crack Detection Models”
Keno Moenck: “Mobile, multimodal, vision-based data acquisition system for passive monitoring in production and intralogistics”
Philipp Prünte: “Leveraging passive monitoring applications in production and intralogistics”
We want to thank the organizers, led by Prof. Roberto Teti from the Fraunhofer Joint Laboratory on Advanced Production Technology at the University of Naples Federico II, and look forward to the next ICME.
