Open Science

Our institute is committed to promoting open science in the research community and seeks to do so by considering the entire scientific process:

A major motivation for opening source code, research data, and data specifications is to allow other researchers and developers to use these projects. This allows independent evaluation and verification of research results. In addition, early sharing of concepts and executable program packages ensures early use of novel algorithms and facilitates potential improvement by other research groups. Methods can either be used directly without reimplementation or serve as reference implementations.
