Ms. Noemi Friedrich

In 2020, I received my BSc certificate in civil and environmental engineering from TUHH. I completed my bachelor thesis at the institute of water resources and water supply. Afterwards I enrolled in the MSc program Water and Environmental Engineering with focus on Water Engineering. During my MSc studies I found special interest in geohydrological applications such as groundwater modelling and hydrochemistry. In my second year I spent a semester at Uppsala University within the Erasmus exchange program. There I studied within the Hydrology program at the Department of Earth Sciences, where my previous interest in Earth Sciences has consolidated. I also made first experiences with remote sensing/GIS and spatial analysis which is why I am now doing my MSc thesis at GHI. Together with my supervisors I am working on a remote sensing approach to analyse and model evaporation from small agricultural reservoirs.
