Dr. Salome Shokri-Kuehni
Dr. Salome Shokri-Kuehni is a chemical and environmental engineer and program manager with international experience in academia, research, and science policy. Her expertise includes geohydrological processes, soil salinity, and microplastics in soil. At TUHH, she teaches courses on environmental research trends, microplastics, and applied fieldwork in water and environmental science. Besides her teaching, she works full-time as a scientific program manager at a German Projektträger, where she monitors international research landscapes, connects stakeholders from academia, industry, and government, and strategically aligns research funding with policy goals.
