Fireside Talks

Fireside Talks in Politics and Technology

In summer 2025, we launched a new event series: Fireside Talks in Politics and Technology. This format creates space for candid, thought-provoking conversations between leading figures in politics, academia, and the tech world—exploring how digital technologies are reshaping governance, power, and public life.

With a strong focus on political and policy engagement, these talks aim to bridge the often-siloed worlds of technological innovation and democratic decision-making. From AI regulation and platform governance to digital sovereignty and global tech competition, the series invites critical reflection on how societies can—and should—shape the future of technology.

Our first session set the tone:

Europe’s Role in the Global Tech Race
