The Institute of Circular Resource Engineering and Management (CREM) runs AI-based learning assistants for its courses. They answer questions from selected course materials and cite the sources they used.

BWTutor – Biological Waste Treatment. Supports the project-based course on biological waste treatment. BWTutor answers factual questions directly, with sources. For design and calculation tasks it gives hints and asks questions instead of complete solutions: the solution is your group's work.

Login. With your TUHH account via the central login of the computing centre (Shibboleth). You enter your password only at the computing centre. The assistant receives a pseudonymous identifier, not your name or e-mail address.

Run locally. The language model runs on a TUHH server. Your questions are not sent to external AI services (e.g. OpenAI).

Limitations. AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check important statements against the cited sources. Use is voluntary and doesn't affect grading.
