Collaborative research in Mexico started

In the frame of the PhD Project "Sustainable Urban Sanitation Alternatives for Mexico: case study in
Tepic, Nayarit (SUSAMEN)" a collaborative research started in June 2011 in Tepic, Nayarit to
obtain field information about the Nitrogen and Phosphorous content in domestic wastewater of the
city (duration 4 months). The field work is being carried out by Mareike Evers (see photos), student of the
Environmental Master Program of the TUHH under the supervision of PhD student at our institute M.Sc.
Gabriela Espinosa and local project partners, mainly Eng. Juan Carlos Paredes Limas from the
Academic Unit for Basic Sciences and Engineering of the Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit.
