Award of the Karl H. Ditze foundation for Mrs. Dr.-Ing. Franziska Meinzinger

Mrs. Dr.-Ing. Franziska Meinzinger has been awarded at July 6th 2011 with the Karl H. Ditze prize for her outstanding work in her doctoral dissertation in the topic "Resource efficiency of urban sanitation systems : a comparative assessment using material and energy flow analysis" (download)" in which he worked in two different case studies (Hamburg, Germany and Arba Minch, Ethiopia) at our institute. The prize award ceremony took place in the Karl H. Ditze auditorium of the TUHH, where Prof. Ralf Otterpohl, PhD Supervisor, held an honorific speech about Dr. Meinzinger, her excellent work and her outstanding engagement. Together with Dr. Meinzinger, one more PhD Dissertation was awarded, as well as two diploma thesis and one student group project.
