- As Senior Researcher & Lecturer in the Materials Mechanics Group, my research is centered on micromechanical modeling of nanoporous metals, targeting fundamental questions of microstructure, plasticity, and mechanical performance. I place strong emphasis on linking computational work directly to micro- and nanoscale mechanical experiments, allowing simulation and characterization to mutually advance our understanding of nanoporous metals.
