Causal model extraction from medical texts using large language models. Leon Sierau is a PhD student at the Institute for Data Science Foundations. In the BMBF-funded KiMeKo project, he investigates the suitability of large language models for semi-automated extraction of graphical causal models from medical specialist literature. The project aims to build a sustainable AI-medical ecosystem for developing AI-based medical products.
