We run several projects for different industrial partners such as shipyards, suppliers and ship owners.

This covers the evaluation of ship designs or supply parts as well as the development of tailor made evaluation sofware for our industrial partners. We also assist our partners during the design and optimization process.

Further, the institute supports the publisher Schriftenreihe Schiffbau. It is the main publishing site of scientific publications in the field of ship design and ship technology of the Hamburg University of Technology.
