At this year's @AVK Innovation Awards, we entered the competition with our Robotic Dieless Composite Manufacturing process, combining incremental forming and additive manufacturing of fiber-reinforced thermoplastics.

The innovative process chain is a result of intensive research across multiple funded projects over the last years, conducted by the @Institute for Aircraft Production Technology, @CompriseTec and @INVENT.

It enables the flexible and economic manufacturing of multi-scaled lightweight composite parts, all without the need for part-specific tooling.

After review of our submission by an expert jury, including a presentation of the innovation at the AVK headquarter in Frankfurt earlier this year, the award was presented as part of the @JEC Composite Talks DACH in Cologne yesterday.

The result: first prize in the category Processes!

We are very happy and honored to receive this recognition. It is a great motivation while we further develop this promising innovation together with our partners.
