Last week in Oslo, @Zsolt Kállai and @Jan‑Erik Rath took part in the 22nd European Conference on Composite Materials (#ECCM22), which brought together around 1,500 delegates from 52 countries to discuss the latest advances in #composites research and applications.

🗣️ During the conference, @Zsolt Kállai presented “From Scan to Part: A Digital Process Chain for Robotic 3D Printing of Fiber‑Reinforced Thermoplastics on Curved Composite Surfaces,” sharing our latest results in conformal 3D #printing with industrial robots.

@Jan-Erik Rath gave a talk on “Towards Automating Hand‑Layup: A Preliminary Study on Robotic Draping of Woven Glass Fiber Fabric,” co‑authored by @Moaaz Abdelmeguid.

🤝 Beyond the scientific programme, it was great to reconnect with many familiar faces and friends from the composites research community, and to build new connections for future collaborations.
