The IICS offers opportunities for student projects and theses. Support for external project works or theses is also provided to the best of our capacity. 

Currently, our resources do not allow us to accommodate the large number of requests we get. To help us collect and process the applications efficiently, we have implemented an online application system. Please submit your application through this link and follow the given instructions carefully if you are interested in a student project with our institute:

To access the page you have to be within the network of TUHH either by using Eduroam/VPN or one of the PCs in the computer rooms on campus. If you are not a student at TUHH please have a look at the Join Us page.

We are regularly reviewing all open applications and we try to match them with available topics and our capacity for supervision. Selected applicants will be contacted by the respective supervisor. If we can't offer you a topic you will also be notified. In that case you are free to apply again to see if there are new topics available after some time. The review process can take a few weeks. Please refrain from additional emails to ask about the status of your application.

Applications are exclusively accepted through this process. Direct applications via email or by contacting individual members of the institute will be ignored. Because of the large number of applications, we highly recommend to not only rely on a single application at our institute, but to also openly look for topics at other institutes.
