The Institute for Vocational Education and Digitalisation examines the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation in the context of vocational education in order to prepare future teachers for these developments in a future-oriented manner. A special focus is placed on the accompanying research of new technologies and current topics in the digital transformation as well as the implementation of innovative and digitally supported teaching-learning settings so that the transfer to educational institutions and work processes can take place and comprehensive digitalisation-related skills development is made possible.
