At the workshop, Teresa Algarra Ulierte presented her paper, “Characterizing Space Communication Channel Behavior: An Analytical Approach with ESA Mission Data Validation.” The work combines analytical channel modeling using Markov chains with real ESA mission data, helping bridge the theoretical approach and what truly happens at ground stations.
TTC2025 was a great opportunity to exchange ideas with the researchers coming from several ESA locations and over 120 research institutions, universities and companies. Thanks to the organizers and everyone involved for a very interesting event full of focused discussions on current challenges in space communications.
