Presentation at IEEE WiSEE conference

Teresa Algarra Ulierte presented at IEEE WiSEE 2025 in Halifax, Canada, delivering a talk titled “What Channel Analysis Tells Us About Quality of Service Needs in Space Delay- and Disruption-Tolerant Networks”.

The presentation compared mathematical channel models with empirical data from ESA missions, providing key insights for future space communication architectures, such as the Solar System Internet.

The conference brought together an international community of experts in space communications, including Vint Cerf, who did a remote opening. Such personalities being present emphasizes the increasing importance of DTN research for interplanetary networking.

It was a great event, where we could exchange ideas and contribute to ongoing discussions on the future of space communication systems.
