This year’s HafenCity Run 2026 will take place on 30 May 2026, and TU Hamburg will be taking part once again. The HafenCity Run combines sport, team spirit and charity into a single event. Northern Germany’s largest corporate and charity run will once again wind its way through the modern waterfront districts – with absolutely no pressure to perform and no timekeeping! Let’s lace up our running shoes and set off on a discovery tour through HafenCity.
The entry fee is €25 for alumni and guests and €15 for students. Included in the entry fee is a donation of €5 per person and €10 per team to the charity “Hamburger Abendblatt hilft e.V.” and the initiative “Kinder helfen Kindern”. The Alumni Association (Alumni Verein) and the Foundation for the Promotion of TU Hamburg (Stiftung zur Förderung der TU Hamburg) are supporting the run.
All participants who do not yet have a running T-shirt will be provided with one. Please specify your preferred size when registering; we will endeavour to provide a TU T-shirt for everyone. As delivery delays may occur due to the current political situation, we ask all participants who still have a TU T-shirt from previous years to reuse it this year.
