New paper accepted for publication in the Information Systems journal

We are pleased to announce that our paper, “zkPACT: A Zero-Knowledge Private Cross-Chain Token Transfer Framework Utilizing Decentralized Oracle Networks,” has been accepted for publication in the Information Systems journal.

The paper presents zkPACT, a framework for privacy-preserving cross-chain token transfers across heterogeneous blockchains. zkPACT combines Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), decentralized oracle networks, and off-chain batching to support confidential asset transfers while preventing transaction linkage across blockchain networks. In addition, the framework incorporates Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI)-based compliance mechanisms that enable users to demonstrate eligibility and credential validity without disclosing sensitive identity information. By integrating privacy-preserving transfers, batched verification, and protocol-level compliance into a unified architecture, zkPACT contributes to the development of interoperable blockchain-based information systems operating across organizational boundaries.

Congratulations to our authors, Elmira Ebrahimi, Anh-Tu Hoang, Dominik Kaaser, Michael Sober, Juan M. Tirado, and Stefan Schulte, on this excellent achievement.
