We are a diverse, multilingual, and multinational team, with a scientific expertise spanning chemistry, material science, and engineering. Our primary research goal is the development and exploration of novel intelligent polymeric, hybrid or organic materials for electronics. These materials are characterized combinng electronic properties, such as high mobility, with additional functionalities, such as an ultra-low modulus for biocompatible electronics.
Collaboration is an integral part of our approach: We work closely with research groups and industrial partners in Germany and abroad, including involvement in two European Innovation Council (EIC) projects, Flexible IntelligenT NEar-field Sensing Skins (FITNESS) and Energy Storage in Molecules (ESiM). Furthermore, we actively engage in various teaching and outreach initiatives.
