The aim of the lecture and the related exercise is to understand the prerequisites for design and integration of aircraft cabin systems. Methodological and engineering competence is to be achieved. Regulations, guidelines and certification issues are to be known.

There is a focus on systems design and systems integration & test together with their diverse disciplines. Safety ans security standards, legal requirements as well as strategies for a product lifecycle management at the top will be covered.
