Arriving by plane

When arriving at Hamburg Airport, please take the interurban train S1 (direction Wedel). Exit the S1 at Hamburg central station ("Hauptbahnhof"). There, switch either into the interurban train S3 (direction Stade) or S31 (direction Neugraben). Exit the S3 or S31 either at Harburg-Rathaus or at Heimfeld - whatever you prefer. From either of these two stations, it's a five minutes walk to the institute of embedded systems.

Arriving by train

Depending on your train connection, you either arrive at Hamburg central station ("Hauptbahnhof") or at Hamburg-Harburg station. No matter at which of these two stations you arrive, simply switch into the interurban train S3 (direction Stade) or S31 (direction Neugraben). Exit the S3 or S31 either at Harburg-Rathaus or at Heimfeld - whatever you prefer. From there, it's a five minutes walk to the institute of embedded systems.
